Jolean's Treasury Report for this month - $865.29 in the bank

$83.00 in the flower fund

Old Business - November's meeting minutes are approved

*In the excitement of Jim being our new "Mr Prez", he took charge of our
December meeting and what a great job he did starting out - then he noticed
Mark sitting with the look of puzzlement on his face - Jim being the fair,
understanding and warm person he is, (great Prez material) he asked Mark
what the problem may be - Mark, not wanting to hurt Jim's feelings said, you
are doing a great job, but! (always a but) you do not get to start until the
January meeting, and I really need my last hurrah, the last
run.............................
Jim being the great Prez material he is, sat down and said - go for it with
a warm and sincere smile. After the meeting they hugged and Marked passed
the briefcase to Jim. Needless to say, there were tears in the crowd.

New Business--------------------------------

+ Club dues are due January 2015
+ Drives - looking for members to step up and sponsor/lead a drive. It
can be an impromptu drive. We will just need to let everyone know.
+ Also concerning drives - would like for members to provide drives they
would like to participate in. We are open to suggestions
+ Looking at setting up club business cards - Club info on front,
+ members
can put their name on the back.
+ Need to do a photo shoot of club members cars. Therefore we can set
+ up
a club members gallery on our web site of members British Cars.
+ Club voted to support the same charity as we did last year. Therefore
we are supporting Daily Bread and MATTS. Club members met with
organizations and donated each a check for $100.00. (last picture in group
of pictures).

Also under new business we are going to try and feature a club members
British Car. You just have to provide pictures and a write up or get with
me (your secretary) and I will take some pictures and help with the write
up.

But (always a but) we are doing it a little different this time. I have
chosen to feature Dan's 1953 MG TD. Dan is not a member of ETMGDC, but he
is a member of the Blount British Cars. So we are doing this a little
different this time. Dan needs to sell his TD, not by choice, but for
health reasons. He is asking $14,900.00. Therefore if anyone is interested
or knows of anyone, please share with them. If you want to contact Dan -
his information is danltous@yahoo.com
865-429-1931

I have looked at this TD and made the attached pictures. The TD has been at
the Blount British Car Gathering and the English Auto Society European Car
show and has won a couple of awards in people's choice voting.

* The body is solid and straight. The doors open and close good, no sag.
* the undercarriage is straight and pretty clean. No signs of dents, rust
or misc damage
* The color is close to primrose. The paint is in excellent condition and
shines nicely.
* Interior is red and in excellent condition
* The top is white with white side curtains. All in good condition

I have not driven the TD, but Dan has driven it over to our shop on Manly
Man Day and of course we went over everything with a fine tooth comb. The
TD is a driver and Dan loves to drive it. He has maintained it very well.
As Dan was leaving the shop, the engine runs good, sounds good and the
transmission shifts good and I could not hear any funny noises coming from
the engine or the transmission.

Feel free to call Dan or get in touch with me and I will tell you anything
else I may know about the TD.

Then as always, the meeting ended with the 50/50 drawing and I won - it was
great. With that the meeting was adjourned.

I truly hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year.

The next meeting is - Thursday, January 8, 2015 Meeting at the Sagebrush
Steakhouse Restaurant

Meet, greet - 6:45 or so
Eat, talk - 7:00
Meeting - 8:00 or so.

Remember there is homework assignments hidden within the meeting notes under
new business. Also remember, this is our new "Mr Prez" official meeting.
Be here to cheer him on.............................

Happy New Year

Being the great husband I am, I will be there to cheer her on and hoping the doctor(s) will let me help. I already told him I work on little British cars so I should be able to help with the surgery just by default. I have my own rubber gloves and tools.
